This has nothing to do with Chromium. It is not installed on my notebook
and yet I have this annoying random logout during the first minutes or
seconds that the computer is on, usually when I try to start any
application, such as Banshee, or even when I click on gmailwatcher or
the weather-indicato
It affects me too. I use a Semp Toshiba infinity. the bug happens a a
few times a day usually a few minutes or seconds after starting the
computer, when I try to open GmailWatcher, Banshee, or even the weather
indicator, but can hapen with other programs too.

I managed to update my problematic machine to Karmic. A curious thing
that I forgot to mention before, this PC does boot if I try it *less
than TEN MINUTES after turning off Windows XP*. Each time I want to use
Ubuntu on this machine I have to boot Windows first, then restart the
machine and boot U
