Installation/Removal fails because of package wh
The brightness hotkeys are dead. The command is at the last line of my
rc.local file (without sudo), maybe it is a problem, because when the
laptop enters to sleep mode, the backlight goes off again.
I'll try your solution, my graphics card is from intel, it seems to
solve this issue, thanks a lot

This version of the kernel seems to have a regression regarding the
backlight setting for the lcd (by default the screen is completely
black). This was fixed manually using setpci.
I know it's a kernel problem, but at this point a lot of new users are
ranting on canonical.
