This bug seems to have been fixed in Anki 1.2.11 (and probably later
versions also). See Anki's website for a .deb file and installation

Public bug reported:
very close to bug 514594 but nothing is scrambled. Everything plays
fine except H264 mvk files. Works perfectly for about 5 minutes and
then totem shuts down. If I launch it with debug I just get a message
that says aborted.
