I agree that the online machine problem is not originating in
shutter -- it is caused somewhere else but consistently occurs
apparently only when shutter is used.
Is there some way of running shutter in a "sandbox" mode?

Previously, when I opened a list of files (currently at

This appears to be an upstream kernel bug, and not limited to just
Ubuntu/Debian. I'm currently running Arch Linux and this regression
showed up in the 4.4 kernel. The last known good kernel version was
4.3.3. Kernel versions that have the issue include 4.4.1 and 4.5rc1.

For the record, this system was upgraded from intrepid where this issue
was not present.

For some reason on the latest version of jaunty (up to date as of today)
and for a while now my nvidia ethernet controller has not been
performing as expected.
Create an SFTP bookmark. Try to open it. It will ask twice for a
username/password, always, regardless of option. I open it through
nautilus mostly, in the places menu.

Whenever I connected to a bookmarked sftp (ssh) share, every time I open
the bookmark after a certain period of time, it always asks for the
password, twice. This is regardless of the fact that I tell it to
remember the password forever or to remembe
Yes, I use the connect to server dialog, and yes, using the url directly
works correctly. It even open the directory correctly after using it
from that dialog. Where the directory is forgotten is on the icon
created on the desktop and in the places menu. That shortcut does not
include the directory

I have this problem also. My guess is it's a problem with id3v2.4
writing that's new in EasyTag 2.1.1. From the changelog, this might be
fixed in EasyTag 2.1.3, but not sure. Hope that helps.
