I have the same problem on Gutsy/x86 for wireless using WPA personal. In
fact, it looks like 'something' is saved, because the password box
contains 64 blobs when Network Settings are reopened. With 64 being a
nice round number, I suspect it might actually save the wrong string,
using a random poin
