keeps crashing. It happened before the latest updates, and afterwards,
too, when I started up Firefox it said one DVD ISO had problems, but
started the one file again, but crashed again. You'd think I was beta
testing Firefox

Public bug reported:
Perhaps I should have done Ubuntu 10.10 Updates before adding the
Firefox 404 extension update? When Firefox opened I got the Update App
checker crash again. What happened to the Force Quit option, since that
worked before.
Thanks, now to check Firefox again.

I think some updates were applied that effect this more severely, since
I can't launch Firefox because I can't bypass this updater.

start or close. On restarting, Firefox the auto-update checker caused
this problem by not exiting properly to allow FF to open as usual. I

After the upgrade, I did an update and this file had been updated. But
when I did a search for Janitor in Synaptic, it wasn't found. So I used

ErrorMessage:
Confirmed Ubuntu 8.04 64-bit bug with FF3 and Yahoo Classic Webmail.
After the 130 Ubuntu 8.4 updates on my P3 box my Yahoo Classic is still
working.
When can I know it is safe to re-install Ubuntu 8.4 64-bit? Would the
same problems show up as a Live CD?
Thanks,

Now the buttons don't work to move messages to my Webmail folders either
on Ubuntu. Later today I'll resort to re-install and see if that fixes
it.
Does Ubuntu automatically collect or upload errors nightly to make
Ubuntu better? That would be a good idea if it doesn't.
Thanks,
