My HP Intel laptop drops all USB ports when I use the Bluetooth Internet
connection for 30 minutes or so after a wake. I notice that the laptop
also seems to be using power whilst suspended sometimes and Hibernate
doesn't work. I'm running 18.04 Ubuntu Mate. rmmod and modprobe didn't
revive anythin
I have the Caja read-only top-level directory problem and I confirm what
others have seen for years with an external USB SD card reader but now
in September 2016 on Ubuntu-Mate 16.04 including mate 1.12.1. I have
attached my xsession errors in case there is a clue there. The last line
had a g-io-er
Been off-Internet for a month so I think it may have been a boot splash

The bug 563893 fix worked for me:
Remove the .thunderbird (not .mozilla-thunderbird) symlink in your home
directory and move .thunderbird.upstream to .thunderbird

Nautilus recognizes when I insert a Video DVD into my LG DVD burner but copy
DVD menu option fails with only 20 MB copied.
