As monit is a configurable system monitoring tool, it is expected that
admins will expand it to monitor all aspects of a system. The
configured system hardening rules block what seem like common use cases:

We are also seeing this running trusty with the HWE kernel (i.e. 4.4) in
which we have upgraded to the upstream i40e drivers.
When we started using i40e 2.0.26 we found that we needed to add
pre-up sleep 15
for bond0 and this seems to work all the time.
However, when using i40e 2.3.6 or 2.4.6 w

This is still present in Oneric with all the latest updates. If the
screen sizes are not the same, the cursor gets stuck on one.
In my case I'm using two DELL U2212HM 1920x1080 monitors. If I change
one to portrait mode (1080x1920) the mouse gets stuck.

I'm trying to live boot beta1 of Lucid on a similar D620. Both the
amd64 and i386 desktop CDs give me same results. X is using the wrong
scan rates so I am unable to use the system.
The system works fine with Interpid i386 and Karmic amd64 (Live and
installed).
Is this the same issue?

Same problem occurs with Karmic (up to date as of today) amd64 and
nvidia 173 and 185 drivers.
Works find in Intrepid, which I have been stuck with.

When booting after removing ``quiet'' from the kernel config line, the
console beeps, apparently from each line of output. I've also seen the
computer hang.
