If it helps, I'm pretty sure this bug only happens on computers with
full disk encryption (or possibly home folder encryption - not sure).
Has been going on for over a year for me and is pretty ugly.

Just resurfacing to say that because I got no response I switched to
GNotes. I'm a bit surprised this hasn't been investigated more. I would

I understand that this might seem to be a weird fluke bug and I know you
all are extremely busy, but Tomboy is effectively completely broken for
me. I hope this would be taken seriously. I've tried uninstalling and

It looks like installing ndesk-dbus from the Docky PPA fixed this for
me. In case you still need more data though, this is the output I got
