Public bug reported:
Did an early upgrade of Ubuntu GNOME to Vivid and this happened.
ProblemType: Package
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 15.04
Package: adwaita-icon-theme-full 3.14.0-2ubuntu7
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.19.0-10.10-generic 3.19.2
Uname: Linux 3.19.0-10-generic x86_64
ApportVersion: 2.1
Appears to still be a problem in 14.04, further, after rebooting or
killing those processes and starting over, while the account shows up it
just asks for your password over and over.
