I think it might have something to do with the fact that I'm running a 32 bit OS. A year ago when I originally installed Ubuntu that was the recommendation. I'll try upgrading to the 64 bit 12.10 and see if that solves the problem. I consider this bug completed / resolved. ** Changed in: linux
