I did some experimenting with the test file last night. I see the same
import failure in Rhythmbox, but things seem OK with the tags and
whatnot at the GStreamer level. That makes me think it's a Rhythmbox
specific bug in the metadata/tag handling.

I think the bug is that he'd like to see the gconf element packaged
separately to the rest of gst-plugins-good, so as not to pull any gnome
bits into his KDE install.

@Roti: It's hard to tell from that debug output which mp3 decoder it's
trying to use. If possible, I recommend trying to remove the
gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mp3 plugin and try the mad decoder instead.

Thanks, I got a test file. The problem is fixed in Fluendo svn and will
be in the 0.10.6 release of gst-fluendo-mp3.
In the meantime, people can remove the gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mp3 package
and ensure they have gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly installed to use the
libmad based decoder instead of the Flu

Another thing to note about this bug is that I can't see mentioned is that my
card is appearing as 2 distinct devices in the ifconfig list:

I just upgrade a laptop to feisty and am having trouble with a PCMCI
prism54 based card as well - it appears to associate with the router OK,
but no traffic gets through for DHCP negotiation (this is on an open
network - no WEP/WPA).
Setting an ESSID and IP address manually also doesn't work - iwc

Just finished installing on a new machine which has an ATI X600 card in

The installer failed to start X, with "ATI: PCI Mach64 in slot 1:0:1
could not be detected! (EE) No devices detected" in the Xorg log.
It dropped me back to a console, and I modified the xorg.conf. C
