The same with me. Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid (had it on Hardy too), Gnome
2.24.1, Rhythmbox 0.11.6
(Rhythmbox is closed)
1. I have mp3 file on desktop for example (it's not on Rhythmbox list)
2. I try to open it with Rhythmbox
3. Rhythmbox window appears, but the file isn't playing (it's on the list now
The same on Dell Latitude X300 (lightness fn+up/down, and eject fn+F10)
