After upgrade to to 16.04 LTS, redshift no longer gets any location
through geoclue. Running the gtk app, location stays at 0.0, 0.0. I ran
geoclue-test-gui from the geoclue-examples package, and it correctly
determines a good location, so it seems geoclue itself is working.

/etc/default/keyboard, and did dpkg-recofigure + udevadm trigger
commands, and also reboots. Everything is fine in virtual conoles and
once logged in, but in the greeter the setting is never applied.

upgraded from 12.04 LTS to 14.04 LTS and experienced the same exact
issue with my Verizon Pantech 4G USB stick. as suggested, I downgraded
modemmanager and everything appears to be stable.

As with others that have an ATI graphics card, the solution in #71 does
NOT work for me either I'm afraid. Can't wait for some sort of aolution
to this; it's a real pain! Occasionally it even seems to hit when my
computers monitor turns off/on after being left..

I think this bug is still affecting me in 11.04 (+ regular upgrades). I
am happy to provide any logs or run things to help test. I see create
GSM connection but not CDMA (but I did see create CDMA on stock 11.04
without upgrades, but after upgrades CDMA was removed)
