Confirmation here that it affects Kubuntu Hardy, using KDM as a manager,
and kde 3.5 (that is num pad works, starts in the right mode (on), but
the light is inverted); It worked in previous versions (and I followed
the upgrade route from previous versions, this is not a fresh install)

I was going to reply with screen shots, but some one already has, so

With KDE print system you also get the options to use the KDE functions such
a print to PDF, etc.
I do agree, this is a nice to have, rather than a bug - however, it does
stand out as odd if you haven't used Gnom
