In Gnome's power management, I have set the lid closed event to lock the
screen when running on AC and to suspend the machine when running on
batteries.
If I close the lid in either state the correct thing ha
ffplay can play this video without any issues, or special command line
arguments.

For my python2.4 nor python2.4-minimal were upgraded from dapper when
this error occured.

This affected my upgrade to edgy as well. However, the packages involved were:
python-epydoc
python-gst0.10
python-xdg
The exact error for me is:
Setting up python-epydoc (2.1-11) ...

I've been running dapper for a while and I decided to upgrade to edgy.
I did this by adding edgy to my sources.list, did aptitude update;
aptitude upgrade.
The upgrade failed with:
