I can confirm the issue is still present and it stems from the Canonical
Firefox Ubuntu modifications addon.
This is very serious for Polish users, as AltGr is used to obtain special
characters. The default browser is basically unusable for chats, text editing
etc.

same problem here, with a Series 5 Samsung running AMD A6 - dual
graphics radeon. It must be said that the open-source graphics works way
better in 14.04 then before.

I have problems controlling numlock on my macbook, and I did hope to
find those options to prevent Numlock turning on after Unity starts
(which did happened sometimes and was impossible to change)

I have a similar problem in the final edition of 10.04 on a thinkpad t42
system.
Not sure about processor use, but it throws floppy IO errors (no floppy drive
ever present).
The system is *very* unstable. I've been using past Ubuntus on this lap since
8.04 or so, and had no problems whatsoeve

My setup was:
1) a new new SATA hdd on which there was a new xp install, and on which i was
installing the 8.04 RC.
2) an old IDE drive from the old computer, on which i XPs and an older ubuntu
The install went quite smoothly, but the grub would not boot ubuntu. In fact,
