Brian's FIX worked for me. My wifi wouldn't connect after suspend/resume. Running freshly installed Ubuntu 8.10 RC on a thinkpad t42p with the Atheros 5212 wireless chip. Three things that I did were 1. added MODULES="ath_hal" to /etc/defaults/acpi-support (not sure if this is significant) 2. ad
