I am unable to suspend or hibernate my Thinkpad X201 laptop after I use
bluetooth tethering with my Nexus S phone.
Here are the steps to reproduce it.
1. Boot up computer into Ubuntu 11.10
2. At the login screen, close lid to enter 'suspend' mode. Suspend is
entered success
Hi. Yes, this happened on the fresh install of Intrepid RC. This fix

Brian's FIX worked for me. My wifi wouldn't connect after
suspend/resume. Running freshly installed Ubuntu 8.10 RC on a thinkpad
t42p with the Atheros 5212 wireless chip.
Three things that I did were
1. added MODULES="ath_hal" to /etc/defaults/acpi-support (not sure if this is
significant)
2. ad
I think I've having the same problem. I'm using a Thinkpad T42p with
Atheros AR5212 wireless card. All the access points within range show up
on the menu, but when I select the access point to connect, it hangs on
"waiting for wireless key".

Is there anyway we can just pre-compile some kernels with SLAB (along
with whatever modules maybe needed), and just host it somewhere, or
maybe even seed it on a torrent? I'll be happy to seed it if someone can
provide the binaries/deb files.
