Would totally agree. This is a real bug as we have around 25% of users hit
in a corporate environment. It didn't happen with other releases.

Previously I had the issue and could replicate by shutting lid on laptop
and then open.
Upgraded xserver-org-common and xserver-org-core from proposed and this
has resolved the issue.

I would strongly go for Depends. It's clear that there is quite a few
PDFs that don't render correctly without it and it doesn't create a good
impression.

I also have this error message in Lucid Lynx. Steps to reproduce :
- Try to add network printer by selecting "Windows Printer via Samba". Put in a
Samba workgroup (either non-existent or in my case existent).
- You see the error message
As a side note can anyone tell me where the firewall setting
I think the error message should say what adding Java does or doesn't do
for this package so the user can make an informed decision. Or get rid
of the error message...

I am seeing this too. There is also a comment at top of

this and seeing if it affects it or not.
