I used to be able to specify different nicks on different servers, for
example iainfarrell on freenode and TheDoctor on internal Canonical IRC.
Since my clean install of Oneiric I can only have one or the other so as

After some digging it appears that lightdm isn't starting properly. One
fix appears to be Ctrl+Alt+F1,user and password and startx but I fixed
it by switching to using GDM - sudo dpkg-reconfigure -plow gdm.
This happened after I ran updates on Wednesday of this week.

minute and 21 seconds. To recreate I open Banshee from the sound menu,
choose any album and double click the first track to play it. Then,

Just installed Thunderbird to try along side Evolution. It's not asking
me for my SMTP password. I've tried deleting that SMTP server, creating
a new one and making it the new default all to no avail.
I'm running the latest release of Karmic.
