my old compaq presario F700 has the same problem. With ubuntu 11.04 64bits unit
was not recognized, but with 32bits version it shows up again. The problem is
that I switched to xubuntu 11.04 32 bits and the problem persists.
Also I must say that when ubuntu 11.04 32b version was installed the dvd

Hi everyone !!
I have this network printer the Xerox 6180 MPD connected to a machine running
Ubuntu 9.04. It prints everything fine except for .pdf files, it only prints
the first page and then the cups system gives me this error
"/usr/lib/cups/filter/pstopdf failed". I've tried all the solution
How good is Wicd i set it in hardy up and have forgotten all about
this bug!

Hey Hey.
Sis the Hardy upgrade and still got the same problem. VERY annoying, you
think by the amount of people having this drama that developers would
have came up with something by now???
Anyway, I swapped to Wicd and its been great so far. Props.

Just to throw a curve ball here.
I never had this problem until i fixed the shutdown hang problem. So any
