Same problem after updating to 17.04. With a wireless logitech M185 and a "PixArt Microsoft USB Optical Mouse" Setting the speed through xinput has no effect, but "xinput --list-props " shows the updated value. Changing mouse speed through GUI does not change the value listed by xinput. -- You
