box) and I just get gdm3 crashing I have installed sddm (and lightdm and
one other) and neither gnome shell with Wayland nor X11 will work all
options crash I installed Kde-plasma and that works from sddm

messages: the entirety of gnome-shell was stuffed by the faulty upgrade,
all I had was a blank screen.

I've solved it I found that the bug didn't exit in a new account so I
renamed .mozilla to .mozilla.old and simlar for the config dirs of the
other browsers affected i.e. Galeon and epiphany then I tested them and
they work fine, so the problem is in all that old cruft from way back,

yeah as I said in the summary I can no longer install openclipart-
openoffice.org & openclipart as openclipart-openoffice.org conflicts
with openoffice when I try to install it synaptic wants to remove
openoffice*
I'm running l
OK got it unstuck by doing:
r...@pern:~# cd /var/cache/apt/archives
dpkg --install openoffice.org*
that didn't entirely succeed but it did enough dist-upgrade worked after that
so now I'm up to date :)

every time I install on lucid this error message comes up I could never
catch it b4 but just now instaklled a single package using dpkg -i and

I've tried to install anjuta with synaptic and I get the following

so I tied to install libdevhelp-1
what about a work around for the 24 hour clock problem ???
