When Text Size plugin is enabled in Gedit, some key combinations do not work as
expected:
- Ctrl+"-" works to zoom out
- Ctrl+"0" works to restore zoom
- Ctrl+"+" does not work, instead, Ctrl+Shift+"+" works
-Ctrl+mousewheel does not work to zoom in/out
All worked perfectly

It seems that Ubuntu has problems re-connecting when the same SSID is
broadcast on two different frequencies. The problem does not occur in
the same environment on Windows and Mac OS X.

Ok, I solved the problem at least for myself.
I am highly positive that in my case the issue lies within Apple Airport
Extreme-Ubuntu tandem. Laptop hardware has nothing to do with the
problem.
