I had a similar problem after I upgraded from kubuntu 24.10 to 25.04:
all OpenVPN connections failed due to Apparmor denying access to
$HOME/.cert/nm-openvpn
I solved with
sudo bash -c "echo '@{HOME}/.cert/nm-openvpn/* r,' >>
/etc/apparmor.d/local/openvpn"
sudo apparmor_parser -r /etc/apparmor.d

A workaround for the problem of my previous post is to remove the line
float 1
from the .ovpn profile. It gets correctly imported on both ubuntu mate
for RPi and Ubuntu 64 bit.
Another problem is the default route setup: routing should be decided by the
VPN server and/or the .ovpn profile. But
In ubuntu 16.04 I'm able to import almost all my 6 .ovpn profiles with
all inline certs.
But one profile fails.
The non-importable .ovpn profile works very well if used via commandline
(sudo openvpn profile_001.ovpn) or in other vpn clients for OS X and
windows.

When grub goes to probe a Fedora partition I have on /dev/sdb4, the process
"grub-mount" takes 100% of CPU.
The following sequence of commands takes 29 seconds to complete with the
process grub-mount taking all the CPU:
