use ubuntu/zsnes anymore so I can't test this anymore. It might have
been fixed in some version/release.

I don't use Ubuntu anymore so I can't test whether this still occurs in
the latest version. But given that no one has tested this or replied
when this was just reported I can guess that no one actually hit this
bug. I'll close this bug report soon if no one will confirm this still
exists on the cur

Does this still happen with the latest kernels? A similar patch was
accepted into the mainline and got picked up by stable release
maintainers.

I am using Ubuntu 13.04 and easytag 2.1.7-2.
How to produce this bug:
1) Select a mp3 file
2) Click the disc icon in the top ("CDDB search")
3) Click search
It produces a segfault. Here is the debug information:
