identical problem when Ubuntu 10.04 was released, and somebody marked it

Creative VF 0400 Live! webcam does not work in Skype version 2.1.0.47
beta.
Instead of displaying me the images, on the webcam settings in Skype I
see dots and green lines.
I cannot report the problem using ubuntu-bug skype command because this
