I have the same issue:
systemd-resolved: Failed to save link data
/run/systemd/resolve/netif/3: Permission denied
The netif folder is indeed owned by root. If I change the ownership to
systemd-resolved and restart the service, there is no error but as soon
as I reboot the system, the ownership
I can confirm same problem with the latest mainstream 4.4.2 kernel on a fresh
install.
Same hardware as the OP except for the VGA, mine is the NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti

I have the same problem. I'm runing Ubuntu 13.04 on a ext4 partition and
it works perfectly. However, when copying files between two external
hard drives, I notice 2 "mount.ntfs" processes running and one of them
would use 80%+ CPU aprox, according to "top".
