The mixed interface spanish/english was fixed, it was because of fuzzy
strings in the es.po file, I've send this patch also to the translation
klavaro system, hopefully it'll integrated in upstream, from there to
Debian and then Ubuntu, however I'm afraid it will not be done as fast
to get in preci

I'm running Lucid, xserver-common [ 2:1.7.6-2ubuntu7.6 ], I've checked
the changelog in debian/ and even when it looks fixed (at least in the
log), I still have the same errors.
I'm attaching a source file to reproduce it, it fails always.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Compile a test program attached.

Just for the sake of completeness if you need a fix for the bug in
previous versions of Ubuntu, you can try steps 1 and 2 of the SRU
Procedure [1], I'm not sure if this bug may apply, but you can always
try, good luck!
