I rebooted the machine with these changes:
1) Moved the USB2/1394 card one pci slot over
2) Turned the camera on during boot
Both testlibraw, dvgrab and kino now recognise the camera and
successfully control *and* grab from the camera!
I'll test some more to determine whether it is the on during
I see similar behavior... However mine doesn't even give the warnings,
just 'No camera exists'
Just out of curiosity, can you post testlibraw and gscanbus results, so
I can compare with my results? Then I can verify whether I need to open
a new bug or stick with this one... ;)

Well... MythTV 0.20 is 'released' now, and Edgy is still a little time
away...
I vote in favor of 0.20 rather than 0.19(-fixes) in Edgy!
(And please somebody backport it to Dapper too?!?!?!)
