My fingerprint reader does not work after "waking up" my laptop.
This happens on both fingeprint GUI as well as fprint.
There is a workaround for fprint, fingeprint GUI crashed everytime. Had to
uninstall.
Steps to reproduce when using fprint:
- go into suspend mode
- resume

This is on a clean install on natty.
nVidia Corporation G84M [Quadro NVS 140M] (rev a1)
By default is was running the nouveau driver without 3D acceleration.
Running jockey-gtk showed three options then:
- Proprietary nVidia driver (version 173)
- Current version of that dri

This is a wishlist bug, I guess.
In most other media players, it's possible to search or scroll through the list
of artists.
E.g. in Rythmbox you focus the artist column and type [R] and you go down to
Radiohead. Then you enter [A] and [G] and
@Sam: Wobbly Windows is in compiz-plugins not even -main or -extra.
In other words, it's part of the standard plugins that come with Compiz by
default.
So it either should be supported or moved to -extra.

Ever since Natty (clean install) I see this bug as well.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Enable Wobbly Windows
2. Maximise any window
3. Trigger Expo (e.g. via Unity's launcher)
4. Double-click the desktop with the maximised window
5. Trigger Expo again → window screwed
The source for this problem appears
I dunno but I'm getting bit of a snotty vibe from you guys.
I agree it makes more sense that the mute button does just that: mute, not
unmute. But there's obviously a demand for the way the T61 behaves.

Alright, I just reverted everything I did.
Now I have only thinkfinger-tools and libpam-thinkfinger installed. Then I ran
sudo tf-tool --acquire
to store my fingerprint and made me the owner of ~/.thinkfinger.bir
That's it. No udev rule, no fingerprint group.

According to Seems bug#649716 I'm lacking "uinput".
It's just strange that it works in many instances.
