I still have this issue with 8.04. I can try an upgrade to 8.10 at some
point, but this is a production workstation so I'm not sure when I might
have the chance to do that.

With desktop effects enabled, Alt+Tab displays the application switcher,
which should show previews of open windows. Instead, the window content
areas of the window previews are plain white. The attachment shows
this.

I have this same issue on two machines, one nvidia and one ati. It only
occurs when desktop effects are enabled.
