You can install Intel's drivers on 12.04.2 LTS, using Fred Moses' instructions. It doesn't work perfectly (high xorg CPU usage after resume from suspend, and orange messages when starting up), but it works a lot better than the generic 12.04.2, 12.10 or 13.04, none of which will resume from sus
