A few months ago I did a fresh install of 12.04 while it was at alpha 2.
I ran this on the same computer for about a month and never encountered
this problem. I presume it must have been fixed some time between 11.04

that user's other keyboards are also available from the menu or

This has apparently now been fixed upstream. The patch on the upstream
ticket solves the reported problem for a Fedora user. I have rebased
the upstream patch for Ubuntu's version of gnome-keyring,

I just did a checkout of the tip of lp:ubuntu-mono, and all weather icons

Furthermore, there are also duplicates present:

This problem also affects the GNOME clock applet, which is installed by
default in Ubuntu 11.04.
Two questions for context - so we don't cause problems with other apps:
1) What problems did weather-clear.svg cause, that the other weather-* icons
didn't?
2) If Ubuntu does not ship the full set of

Cullen: where were they?! On all installs I've seen, /usr/share/icons

missing weather-clear.svg . Some machines fall back to the Humanity

Correct. At some point in the future though, if we want support for
system themes then we'd want to transition back away from hardcoding
these icons.

Andrew: if you are actively working on this for Natty beta, then try
chmod +x'ing debian/postinst . That script should be installing the

The problem was that the icon was not set when no place was specified.
Here's a patch that fixes it - it uses the pre-existing weather-
