Hi. Turns out I identified the root of this problem. The cause was the "skip-grant-tables" on mysqld.cnf file. I use this so I can bypass a permission error on a fresh installed mysql. I just didn't knew I had to remove it after I changed the admin password. Removed the line and the process fol

Public bug reported: For every package or apt-get operation I do, it always get stuck on "configuring mysql" until é kill the process. I have no idea why, it works for a while after a fresh install then it starts this weird scenario. Both my personal computer and my workstation have this. Problem
