Going over advises found in @juergh links I messed around with
blacklisting in `/etc/modprobe.d/` and noticed that it has a file named
`broadcom-sta-dkms.conf`. I checked and I don't have `broadcom-sta-dkms`
installed. In fact, I don't have `dkms` installed. Yet those packages
are available. So I i

Everything worked in 24.04. When I upgraded and rebooted the wifi was
gone. No adapter. I tried “Software & Updates” and it doesn’t suggest
any proprietary drivers. In fact, it didn’t detect anything.
My system in question is MacBook Air 2011 (I think).

I have this bug in 20.10 (upgraded from 20.04). On shutdown it always
waits for 90 seconds, then it times out and the shutdown proceeds

It affects me as well. But:
1) I have no auto-login.
2) I have no Dash to Dock installed, so I cannot even try the workaround from
#7.
3) It is 100% reproducible.
4) If I don't lock the screen manually (that is with Win+L) everything works

Downloaded kernel 4.4.23, rebooted in it, compiled in zfs, waiting now
to see if it reboots or not. So far it was up for 40 minutes. If
everything goes well, I'll wait several hours, and mark the ticket as
instructed. If not, I'll mark ticket as instructed faster. :-)

gimp-plugin-registry failed to be installed when gimp-save-for-web was
present. Removing the latter made the former installing without a hitch.
I use the current Ubuntu 8.10 64-bit. I was using Synaptic to
install/uninstall packages.
I wanted to share a directory, and was asked to install (Samba). When I
clicked "Install" nautilus crashed. I tried to repeat it, and it crashed
again.
Interesting thing is I used to share those directories before the
upgrade from 7.10 to 8.04, but somehow Samba was uninstalled during the
upgrade.
When I installed Samba using Synaptic I was able to share directories
without any problems.
