Hardy has Xen 3.2, but doesn't have cpufreq support on the Xen
hypervisor nor the Xen dom0 kernel.
Redhat Enterprise 5.2 contains some patches to Xen and the Xen dom0
kernel that allow cpufreq on amd and intel cpus only if the dom0 has all
the vcpu assigned.

You can close as wont-fix, as it's a problem with the current Xorg, drm and
mesa architecture. I will be fixed when redirected glx will be correctly
implemented. They said that for Xorg 7.4 will be done, but until that we must
wait (and perhaps help them).

9639. Same symptoms. I have two users, if I switch from one to another,
the gnome screensaver window of the user (the one that is logged in

Today that there is the new nvidia driver 100.14.19, the black console
problem is still not fixed. The only driver that allows me full
functionality after suspend is the old 8776 driver. That is bad, because
I can't use the new features of the new drivers...
(texture_from_pixmap!).

But how vlc, tvtime, xine handle fullscreen windows? They work correctly

xset dpms off
shuts down the backlight for a few seconds.
Only vbetool dpms off shuts down backlight really.

I have also this issue, using both dapper and edgy on an hp nx7400 and an Acer
5612wlmi (both with intel 950gma).
If I use vbesave dpms off the backlight goes off, with gnome-power-manager,
xset dpms force off, the backlighy remains on.

updates on the tray icon, and then install upgrades, it doesn't install new
packages, but only refreshes the list (like on startup).

I solved the problem, moving the Desktop dir to another place, making
and empty desktop dir, log in, log out, moving the old desktop back. The
icons now are normal, using the same symlink.

I've installed the new i810 driver 1.7.2 from debian, compiling the package
from source.
There are no GART errors anymore, my mtrr is fixed, but still the glxgears
framerate is less than with 1.4.1.

The /proc/mtrr is with dapper+beryl repositories packages+aiglx. Using edgy I
