Qjackctl uses pasuspender to suspend pulseaudio while it's running.
The workaround is to use qjackctl.bin instead of qjackctl
Of course you need to have correct pa/jack setup (e.g. pulse -> jack ->
alsa using module-jack-(sink|source))
