dAniel, There was not enough information for bug 111375 to tell if it is the same. The author just said "I can't get powernowd to work" and then went on to explain some diagnostics that he tried. I did not experience any problems with "powernowd" when I upgraded to Gutsy. uname -a Linux Seafarer
