I'm seeing this also on my Ubuntu 8.04.1 (Kubuntu) install.
Seems to me this is a pretty critical bug as could result in major data loss.

The problem isn't the dialog appearing, it's that it's not intuitive which

The section shows the output from a suspend, resume, reboot and insert the card.
I've marked the start of each action in the log file.
I also inserted the flash card after resuming but before rebooting, but you'll

I have a Compaq Presario M2000 (same model?) and have seen the same in
both Dapper and Edgy. In Edgy I'm getting that message everytime I
logged in, in Dapper when I had it configured to hibernate on lid down
it would hibernate as soon as I logged in. After that though, it seemed
to detect lid even

up to date, so it should have the header and restricted modules update
mentioned above, but still I'm seeing the same problem.
