Same thing is happening to me on Ubuntu 9.04. It would just hang on
normalizing tracks. I left it for a very long time one day, and it never
moved past that. I just disabled the normalizing plugin, as suggeste
But that would mean that every new user would have to add that to bashrc
and profle, files. No, this should be delt with so Ubuntu will protect
itself, even in the hands of new users.
