Unfortunately I had to reinstall OS in the mean time. It works now. No
idea what was the issue.

Chromium uses auto_proxy variable with .pac URL. Maybe some other
application also follows the same scheme.

Using PAC file does not set h
This is still a bug in Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS
$ sediffx sepolicy ';' data/security/sepolicy

appport does nothing here. No progress on console, no GUI app opens, no
error. Possibly because I'm behind some firewalls and proxies.
What more info do you need?
Distribution: Ubuntu 12.04.03 LTS
1. Copy paste the above url into chromium (or go to proxy settings through
settings).
