Sorry about not getting back to this bug report with the additional
information but I just don't have time right now. Rhythmbox crashes on
me pretty frequently and quite randomly. It is possible to put a "try
catch" around each of the functions that crash Rhythmbox so it can
handle those issues

The "Edit Automatic Playlist" window does not put scrollbars when there
are too many list items so the window cuts of at the end of the screen.
This limits you to only have as many list entries as the height of the
window. I am using Ubuntu 7.10

Rythmbox will just randomly crash when a new song starts playing. When
it crashes, any songs added to playlists in the current session are
removed.
I have shuffle turned on so I don't know which songs its crashing on and
can't try to reproduce
