Well, I said ``connection quality'' to distinguish this from the signal
strength *numbers*.
I don't think it's the numbers. It's what the WiFi driver can make out of the
physical signal that's ``in the air''. What are the symptoms:
* It is more difficult to connect to networks

* Could you explain why you think these functions are of interest?
* Do these functions compute the signal quality values which can be
displayed, e.g., with nm-tools?
* Do the computed values affect the actual ability to receive or
transmit, or a
I surmise that it's not the * in 8086:422* that makes the difference:
there's too many people who have the problem.
