Ridge ) + Nvidia GTX 1650 GPUs and a display having refresh rate of
120Hz.
Whenever I shut the laptop lid or it auto-suspends it catches screen

gnome shell is consuming most of my laptop's memory, i.e. ~700 MB / 3.8 GB.
Currently using Ubuntu 17.10 >> Artful Aardvark.
RAM consumption is pretty high even if you compare it to Chrome, having 5 tabs

I am facing issue almost similar to your. I have ubuntu gnome 17.04 .I
can connect to wifi but the wifi does not seem to work even though it
shows connected. I dont have much knowledge of troubleshooting . What
file will be needed?

I have no splash image during the booting process. No ubuntu 13.04 logo
with 5 dots or no other image is shown. Only the default gnome blue
stripped wallpaper is shown. My mouse cursor is visible. After 5-10
seconds my desktop (which has different wallpaper).

Don't know whether the bug is facebook's side because till last week
with ubuntu/mint/fedora (all 32bit) it was working fine. On 13.04 64 bit
ubuntu-gnome this is causing an error. Please get a permanent fix as
early as possible. :)

Also Banshee crashes when playing the FLV file (it actually plays it,
but as soon as I minimize the player or try to bring another application
to focus, it crashes X!!). mp3 files are played properly though both by
vlc as well as banshee.
