I have 8g ram and 8g swap however sudo pm-hibernate makes the screen go
off for a few seconds and then it comes back w/o restarting or halting.
Everything works as normal afterwards. wifi goes off and on during the
process and works normal afterwards as well.

@raharper I am in the exact same state with @vaclav-n. Can confirm that
after installing your package "IPSEC/IKEv2 (strongswan)" option is now
present in nm-applet.
However because of this "at least 20 character" restriction I cannot
proceed with my PSK VPN connection.

My system (12.10 (quantal) 64-bit) suffers from the same problem as

libqxt-dev does not install the qmake integration
there is no qxt*.prf file in
http://packages.ubuntu.com/oneiric/i386/libqxt-dev/filelist
that that makes "CONFIG += qxt" useless
(thanks to on #qxt @freenode)
