Using Ubuntu 13.04 (rdesktop 1.7.1), I can confirm that a network
disconnect still locks the keyboard for my entire system. The only
solution is to kill the rdesktop process.

Upgraded from ubuntu 10.04 to 13.04. Same problem as everyone else; bug
still there. Comment #8 fixed it. Although re-setting the default sent
folder caused Evolution to crash, it worked properly upon relaunch.

This bug is still there for the brscan driver; apparently the fix only
applies to the brscan3 driver. I have a Brother MFC-9700, which uses the
brscan driver. In Ubuntu 10.04, Simple Scan worked as expected; a text
scan was fast and black and white. Now that I've upgraded to Ubuntu
13.04, text scan
I should add that I'm using a CD-R, and that I tried the suggestion of
unplugging all USB drives, to no avail.

10.10 can't mount squashfs
Same problem here with 10.04 32-bit. Trying to run the Live CD on a Dell
Intel server. Verified the MD5sum. Very frustrating, especially since
this is a broken Windows machine and I was all set to send Linux gparted
to the rescue. Evidently Ubuntu needs a rescue. :(
