I have the same issue with syndaemon. Its added to the startup list as
syndaemon -i 1 -KRd and unchecked the option in touchpad settings but it
doesnt seem to disable anything

Same issue for me. Latest attempt was loading Kernel 3.18 but still inop
as full feature touchpad. Can only load and use as a ps2/mouse.

Post #4 does not work for me. Added setting info and restarted system
but no change in status of issue.
Also, if I try to add ANY account to the Online Accounts after Empathy
is up and running ... the online-accounts window opens then closes,
sometimes giving me a crash error.

When I click on "Facebook" in online accounts, it starts to load the
