I noticed that the onboard PCI was marked as busy in the log, and that
there was a systemwide pulseaudio daemon running. The contents of
/etc/default/pulseaudio (minus comments) is:
PULSEAUDIO_SYSTEM_START=0
DISALLOW_MODULE_LOADING=1
But somehow it seems to start pulseaudio on boot anyway.

If you have a cluster to test on, all it takes is using any of the
tools from remote to trigger the leak. You can see how the number of
open filedescriptors increase in /proc//fd/ for the "cib" process.

Well, I have another use case; Basically it breaks monitoring of
processes in a cluster environment, as cluster software still doesn't
support upstart. My cluster software is happily announcing that a
service is running, even if it is stopped. This leads to a lot of
breakage and pain. And lost data
/usr/lib/ocf/resource.d/lvm2/clvmd is gone from the latest clvm package.
Also, clvmd is still not built with support for corosync/openais.

Maximizing windows works great on my IBM/Leonovo Thinkpad W500 after
upgrading to Xorg from xserver-no-backfill. I'm using fglrx directly
from ATI (8.600). This seems to solve the bug where Xvideo-overlays
would crash the machine, as mentioned in the drivers release notes.

After upgrading some servers to 8.04.1, booting from my multipath LVM
volumes often fails.
Hardware:

The image was downloaded from www.rom-o-matic.net. I had luck with

I moved the BIOS image to /usr/share/kvm/pxe
I've also noticed that the laptop will start going into sleep if I pull
the power cord while the lid is closed, this is changed behavior from
2.6.20.

I'm experiencing the same problem. My T42 (Type: 2373N3G) was running
feisty up to the release of the beta. Closing the lid without power
attached makes the panel go black, and the hibernate/sleep led starts to
blink.

As far as I can see, what happens is that the "from random import
constructRandom" loads /usr/lib/python2.5/random.py instead of
/usr/share/games/pysol/random.py. Just as a test I copied
pysol/random.py to another file, and changed the imports in actions.py,
app.py and game.py to reflect this. The
