Should I file a new report for 24.04 ?
Not being able to change the default font for whole interface is quite annoying,
furthermore when the latest Ubuntu font family pretends to offer some really
good condensed ones ;-)
Even weirder font-manager does not seem to have any problem to show them
(
And gnome-text-editor does neither show any weird shadow under its popup
menu.
For the moment I've only seen that « glitch » in gnome-terminal.

If re-enable

I have finally ended up with binding both « thumbnails » folders through
fstab adding those lines :

It's a bug because app-store are used by less-techy user who then don't
notice what kind of package they have just installed. Or don't know why

It uses Nemo 4.4.2 as file explorer.

There has been many proposals to upstream throughout years for fixing
that stupid and ridiculous ellipsis.
Upstream seems not to want to merge those because these days they are
working on a new app grid - where ellipsis is still a thing.
It's been years they don't care.
Maybe that should be fixe
On Ubuntu Budgie 19.10, the problem disappears when I do not use global-
menu-applet.
On Ubuntu Budgie 20.04, no problem at all, even while using global-menu-
applet.
So probably something changed in Firefox Ubuntu package regarding menu (
? ).

I faced the same problem while installing Ubuntu 18.04 and 20.04.
No VM here. And French for locale.
It's OK if I first « try without installing » in my language, then later launch
the installer.
In this scenario, no problem with keyboard at the username/password stage, it
remains french/azerty

trying to read some « old » dvd ( 2007~2008 ) with vlc.
On Ubuntu ( Budgie ) 19.10 I get :

I suspect trash applet to delete not only symlink but also source file
or folder to that link.
create a symlink to a folder containing many things
Still ugly in Ubuntu 20.04.
Seems improvements are planned for gnome 3.38 ???
It's been years that names are truncated on the grid view…

allows .desktop to launch chromium on the expected page, but icon is
still not set accordingly.

If the snap chromium is connected to removable-media, the shortcut is
correctly placed in ~/Desktop.
But this shortcut does not work, opens chromium on a blank page.
Tested today on UBudgie 19.10 and chromium-snap 80.0.3987.162 (Build
officiel) snap (64 bits).
