Works on Lenovo X230. Also the keyboard shortcuts on XFCE work again.
Thanks for fixing the long-term annoyance.

Strange enough - I took the most recent source package, built it,
installed it and now gitg works.
What I did to get it working:

cd gitg-3.15.1/
sudo apt-get build-dep gitg

Sory, no. I just updated to Xubuntu 15.04 and that's when gitg showed

Right, I'm using Mint 16 XFCE which is based on Ubuntu 13.10 AFAIK.
(I don't have much experience with Mint either. I just needed a usable
distribution on my laptop quickly and didn't have time to try much.)

You say that with a recent Linux Mint you also see the problem.
I'd like to note that I have switched from Xubuntu to Linux Mint XFCE recently
and have *NOT* had a single standby/resume problem since. (This bug is so
serious that Xubuntu 14.04 was no longer an option for serious work o

It's been a while but I currently have this problem on Maverick (10.10)
on my laptop. After using UMTS to get into the internet and then opening
an OpenVPN connection to my company my /etc/resolv.conf looks like this:

The actual Debian/Ubuntu package is bzr-pqm. Apparently it was
blacklisted due to too strict filtering criteria. (I'm trying to filter
out software packages automatically in screenshots.debian.net that are
not useful to have screenshots.)
The package is now listed at http://screenshots.debian.net/
I talked to Michael Vogt and we decided that at first I'll implement a
http://screenshots.debian.net/screenshots-ubuntu/%s URL schema that will
return a 404 if no screenshot is available. I'll get back to you as soon
as the web site is updated. I hope I find time this evening to do that.

I couldn't find an SVG (or another high-resolution) version of the
Ubuntu logo. Attached to this bug are the Gimp files (XCF) for the large
and small dummy screenshot I created for Debian. If someone uses these
to provide Ubuntu dummy graphics files then I can concentrate on adding
Ubuntu support.

Hi, I'm the creator and admin of screenshots.debian.net. I've already
worked with Michael Vogt to get screenshot support running in Synaptic
which I think is a great feature.
I'll be happy to help you brand screenshots.debian.net to make it more
ubuntu-ish. Let me know which way you prefer.
